Congrats to Sara Elliot and Terhyon Nichols for being named Scholar Athletes of the Month in September!

Sara Elliott from Walnut Hills

Sara Elliott has been a core member of the Walnut Hills Field Hockey Program since its inception four years ago. From the very beginning, she has been a vocal leader and strong supporter of the program. Her contributions range from leading team discussions to suggesting ideas for drills and practice plans, always with the goal of encouraging and bringing her teammates along with her.

Her skills on the field have been a bedrock of the team’s defensive strategy for multiple years, culminating in a test of skill when she switched positions to play offense, resulting in a goal. The strong leadership coupled with a desire to be a top athlete is what led her to be nominated for Athlete of the Month. 

Terhyon Nichols from Withrow

As a highly recruited player, Terhyon Nichols has what it takes both on and off the field. Terhyon is a star in the classroom where this standout Junior has a GPA of 4.38. He has received multiple college scholarship offers from schools like Tennessee, Notre Dame, Penn State, Cincinnati, Michigan State, and Boston College.  Terhyon is 1st Team All CMAC and ranked 12th in Ohio for football. He also went to State in the 100M as a Sophomore. The future is bright for this 2024 Withrow High School Defensive Back.
