MLK Oratorical Contest

CSU to Provide Scholarship Opportunities for Students

Central State University will visit Woodward High School on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. to provide information about the university, and scholarship opportunities for CPS students. The school with the most seniors attending by percentage will win a $1,000 Superintendent scholarship. Transportation support is available if registered by April 3.

Student Yoga

Young Entrepreneurs of Color Pitch Competition Applications Now Open

This year, the program will provide a one-week paid internship to students and young professionals, age 15-20, to learn about entrepreneurship and work in teams to pitch business ideas that provide solutions for real company problems. Applications due by Friday, April 14, 2023 at 5 p.m.

FCC is hosting Cincinnati Public Schools Night on April 22, 2023 vs. the Portland Timbers at 7:30 p.m. Ticket sales will provide an opportunity for select students to meet players and learn more about professional soccer!

Paralympian Visits Sands Montesorri

Sands students in grades four through six were treated to an assembly led by Wheelchair Basketball Paralympian Jacob Counts, created through the school’s partnership with Skool-Aid and its founder, Ian Smith. Counts is a three-time collegiate National Champion.

Two teams of Girls to Women students from Walnut Hills High School took home first-place prizes in the Square 1 NEXT Final Pitch Event & Dinner! One group even received full-ride scholarships to Thomas More University for their "Blk Beauty" app pitch!
