We ask all our students to strive for A’s in the classroom, but outside the class, CPS goes for the double-A’s! 

Fitch Ratings, a global provider of credit ratings, commentary and research, awarded Cincinnati Public Schools a ‘AA’ rating. 

According to Fitch Rating’s press release, “The 'AA' rating reflects the district's moderate long-term liability burden and superior strong gap-closing capacity, and solid flexibility of main expenditures. The rating also reflects both the district's constrained revenue framework and its proven history of passage and renewal of voter-approved levies, as well as its slow expected revenue growth.”
