New Student Information Service Applications!
CPS is excited to announce the new Student Information Service applications, Focus and Canvas! Thanks to the input from families and working groups composed of individuals from across the district, CPS will begin to build out the transition in Summer and Fall 2023. Beginning school year 2024-2025, Focus will fully combine PowerSchool, Ed Plan, Performance Matters and school registration into one place and Canvas will replace Schoology.

Learning is Cool Academic Achievement Celebration
Children who have achieved "A" Honor Roll were invited to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden for the Learning Is Cool Academic Achievement Celebration on Tuesday, June 27th, from 6:00-8:30 PM through the FC Cincinnati Foundation.
Walnut Hills Graduate Wins $10,000 Scholarship and Trip to Italy
A recent Walnut Hills High School graduate is headed to Italy to study music this summer after winning a national vocal competition.
Hughes High School Zoo School: Transforming the Educational Landscape
The Cincinnati Zoo Academy is revolutionizing the education landscape by offering a unique and innovative learning experience that combines traditional classroom instruction with hands-on, real-world applications. Appearing on the "Learning Unboxed" podcast, Chris Edelen, Career Tech Teacher at Hughes STEM High School, along with other Zoo Academy staff members, discussed the educational transformation that the Zoo Academy has with students.
Aiken Educator Goes the Extra Mile to Ensure Student's Graduation
In a heartwarming display of dedication, a former Career Tech Coordinator teacher went above and beyond to help a family’s struggling student graduate not once, but twice. Mrs. Victoria Nesbitt, an exceptional educator at Aiken New Tech High School, proved that the impact of an educator can extend far beyond the classroom.

CPS brought the spirit of appreciation at its first-ever 2023 Employees of the Year Recognition Event. Superintendent Iranetta Wright personally recognized 78 outstanding teachers, principals, custodians and staff members for their unwavering commitment to education!
