Board Member Dr. Kareem Moncree Moffett Recognized by National Association of Social Workers - Ohio

Monday, November 21, 2022, the National Association of Social Workers - Ohio Chapter (NASW Ohio) recognized CPS’ Board of Education Member Dr. Kareem Moncree Moffett as the Region 6 Elected Official of the Year! Dr. Moffett was nominated by Gregory Stewart for her alignment with NASW Ohio values and work to enhance opportunities for students to develop workplace skills and enter career training pathways after graduation.

NASW Ohio is the largest professional organization for social workers in the state of Ohio and is dedicated to enhancing the lives of Ohio social workers and the communities they serve. The Public Elected Official of the Year Award honors an elected official whose leadership, through service and advancing social justice, exemplifies the values and mission of professional social work. Region 6 encompasses Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, Highland, Lawrence, Pike, Scioto and Warren counties in southwest Ohio.
