Rothenberg Students Learn about Entrepreneurship through Holiday Market

Rothenberg Preparatory Academy students got a taste of what it’s like to become entrepreneurs, all
while helping their classmates and community work on their holiday shopping lists.

It was part of the first-ever Rothenberg Winter Market presented by Rothenberg Student Enterprise.
Students and vendors from around the community sold a variety of items including jewelry, teas,
haircare products, cosmetics and sweets.

The event also included a panel discussion emceed by WLWT Anchor Courtis Fuller that featured local
entrepreneurs who discussed the highs and lows of their business journeys. A special thanks to Brian
Travis, Milan Construction; Nikki Lawrence, FemmePorter; Dwight Price, JoJo Fish and Chicken; and April
Moore, president of her own home care company for sharing their experience and inspiring us.
