Million Father March Welcomes Pleasant Ridge Students With Open Arms

For some students, the new school year can be an anxious time with new faces and new names to learn. To ease this transition to the new year, numerous adults from The Million Fathers March(MFM) will be greeting students at the Pleasant Ridge Montessori school doors to give them the reassurance they need. 

The MFM is a movement that sees parental figures from various men’s groups and organizations demonstrate their support for the academic lives of children by welcoming students on the first day of school. 

The welcoming committee has been an annual event for the school starting back in 2019. 

The Million Fathers March will be held on Thursday, August 18 from 7:15 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at Pleasant Ridge Montessori, 5945 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45213.
