Join CPS for College Week October 20-24 to learn everything you need to know to prepare for college!

CPS College Week is back to provide students and families with everything they need to know about attending, paying and preparing for college and career. Know what’s next after high school? Let the CPS College Team help you prepare for life Beyond the Tassel!

Monday, October 20 - College Fair

4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - Withrow University High School

Kick off the week with a college fair! Meet with representatives from local and national colleges, technical and trade programs, ROTC, Career Community Resources and AAA Pathways! Grab a slice of pizza* and a cup of ice cream* while learning about your college possibilities. The first 200 registrants get a free CPS gift!

Transportation will be available between high schools.

Tuesday, October 21 - Athletics in College: Intramural, Club or Competitive

9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the University of Cincinnati

Want to play sports in college? Join CPS and UC for an NCAA Athletics Information Panel.** Whether you’re interested in playing competitively in NAIA or Division 1-3 or just for fun in intramurals or clubs, students will tour facilities, learn about the recruitment process and get their questions answered by current student athletes! Meals and transportation will be provided.

**Due to NCAA recruiting regulations, students in grades 9 and 10 are not allowed to attend the event. However, a recording of the event will be made available.

Wednesday, October 22 - College Pathways and CCP

Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and X as we share information about CPS’ college pipelines. Pipelines help you gain college credit and experience in different career fields!

Join us virtually (bit.ly/CPSCCPEvent) at 6 p.m. to learn about College Credit Plus (CCP), a program for eligible 7-12th graders to take college-level coursework and earn credits towards college.

Thursday, October 23 - Decisions, Decisions and College Innovation Information

Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and X as we share tips for making the right college decision, including where to start, what to ask, how to grapple and when to decide.

College Innovation District Information Night

Join us virtually (bit.ly/CPS-CIPnight) from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. to meet with the CPS College Team and University of Cincinnati to learn how to earn an associate degree while still in high school. The program begins in 9th grade at Shroder High School. Current Sayler Park 8th graders are eligible for the 9th grade cohort at Sayler Park.
