College Preparedness and Pipeline Programs

High School Location	College Pipeline or Preparation Experience
Aiken New Tech High School	TEACh Cincinnati: Pipeline program for future teachers with Miami University. This program begins in 9th grade and includes college visits, programs, and college coursework. College Credit Plus: Aiken offers Math, English, History and Education classes for college credit in their building. Students may also attend classes on a college campus.
Clark Montessori High School	Early IT with UC: An early college program that exposes students to college coursework in Information Technology and accelerates their college degree to enter college as a sophomore. College Credit Plus: Clark often offers Math and Chemistry classes for college credit in their building. Students may also attend classes on a college campus.
Gilbert A. Dater High School	Early IT with UC: An early college program that exposes students to college coursework in Information Technology and accelerates their college degree to enter college as a sophomore. College Credit Plus: Students may attend classes on a college campus.
Hughes IT High School	Early IT with UC: An early college program that exposes students to college coursework in Information Technology and accelerates their college degree to enter college as a sophomore. College Credit Plus: Hughes STEM offers Biology, History, English and Math classes for college credit in their building and the Zoo Academy. Students may also attend classes on a college campus.
James Gamble Montessori High School	Early IT with UC: An early college program that exposes students to college coursework in Information Technology and accelerates their college degree to enter college as a sophomore. College Credit Plus: Gamble offers English and Agriculture classes for college credit in their building. Students may also attend classes on a college campus
Oyler School	TEACh Cincinnati: Pipeline program for future teachers with Miami University. This program begins in 9th grade and includes college visits, programs, and college coursework College Credit Plus: Oyler offers English and Math for college credit in their building. Students may attend classes on a college campus .
Riverview East Academy	College Credit Plus: Riverview East offers English and a variety of Math classes for college credit in their building. . Students may also participate on a college campus.
School of Creative and Performing Arts	College Credit Plus: SCPA offers English and History classes for college credit in their building. Students may also attend classes on a college campus.
Shroder High School	Early IT with UC: An early college program that exposes students to college coursework in Information Technology and accelerates their college degree to enter college as a sophomore. College Credit Plus: Shroder offers English and a variety of Math classes for college credit in their building. Students may also attend classes on a college campus.
Taft Information Technology High School	College Credit Plus: Taft offers English for college credit in their building. Students may also attend classes on a college campus.
Cincinnati Digital and Virtual High Schools	College Credit Plus: Students often attend classes on a college campus or online.
Walnut Hills High School	College Credit Plus: Walnut Hills offers Engineering, Biology and Math classes for college credit in their building. Students may also attend classes on a college campus.
Western Hills High School	Early IT with UC: An early college program that exposes students to college coursework in Information Technology and accelerates their college degree to enter college as a sophomore. College Credit Plus: Western Hills offers English and EMT classes for college credit in their building. Students may also attend classes on a college campus.
Withrow University High School	Lindner College of Business Pipeline: Students participate in mentorship, summer institute, and college coursework offered through UC to expose and prepare them to be a successful College student and prepare for entrance into business school. College Credit Plus: Withrow offers college credit coursework in English, Accounting, Math and Entrepreneurship. Students may also participate on a college campus.
Woodward Career Technical School	College Credit Plus: Woodward offers college credit coursework in Math in their building. Students may also participate on a college campus.

UC EarlyIT: University of Cincinnati Early Information Technology program

Partners: UC School of IT; Clark, Hughes STEM, Shroder, Western Hills, Dater, Gamble

Grade Levels Impacted: 9-12 (class of 2021 was first matriculating cohort)

Components:

Up to 6 IT courses (IT Fundamentals, Web Development, Programming I, Database I, Networking, and Systems Administration) delivered bilaterally by CPS instructors
Direct admission to UC School of IT for students who complete all 6 IT courses + College Math, College English, College Humanities) with a C
These students will have 2nd year status upon matriculation to UC Preferred review for any student who completes at least 2 courses with a C or higher
Access to UC IT Expo, Summer Camp, and other experiential opportunities
Access to internships while in high school
Access for opportunities for co-op the summer after high school graduation, for students who satisfactorily complete all aspects of the program

Withrow to Lindner College Credit Plus Pipeline

Grade Levels Impacted: 7-12

Components:

Summer Program between Sophomore and Junior, and Junior to Senior year
Near Peer mentors Mathematics support by UC faculty
College Credit Plus Courses in Business (Entrepreneurship, Economics, and Accounting) taught by Withrow faculty under UC Faculty mentorship
Guaranteed admission to Lindner College of Business upon completion of the program with certain grade criteria per course taken in the pipeline
