Zoo Academy

For fifty years, the Zoo Academy has been preparing young people for careers in animal and plant conservation and care.  Zoo Academy students receive hands-on experiences working with our conservation partners from the Cincinnati Zoo, Civic Garden Center, Cincinnati Animal Care, and Krohn’s Conservatory.  Students prepare for a variety of careers in animal and plant fields such as:

- Veterinary Technician
- Landscape Designer
- Urban Agriculture
- Animal Behaviorist
- Wildlife Officers
- Arborist
- Field Biologist
- Animal Care Specialists
