Montessori High School Application — October 7, 2024

CPS Magnet Sibling Application for Preschool and Elementary School — November 1, 2024 - February 14, 2025
Phase 1:
Please begin your application by registering your child or linking your existing CPS student to your Focus account.
- Current CPS students should not complete a new registration. Please ensure your student is linked to your parent/guardian Focus account with your student's Focus Student ID number.
- New students must complete the online registration. Parents/guardians may complete this process for their student through their parent/guardian Focus account.
Phase 2:
Beginning January 2, 2025, you will be able to select your school choice.
- Parents and guardians receive notification: March 28, 2025
- Deadline to accept or decline: April 15, 2025
Siblings are given priority for entering magnet schools but must still apply through FOCUS using the Application system.
- All applications must be entered online. If you do not have access to a computer, please visit a school or CPS Customer Care at 2651 Burnet Ave. to access a computer for online application assistance.

*For students interested in Spencer Center: Please complete the form below to enroll your student in Spencer Center for the 2025-2026 school year. * Please note, if you have not yet spoken with a member of the Spencer Center office staff to have your student’s test scores reviewed for eligibility, please do not complete the form at this time. Please contact the Spencer Center main office at 513-363-3400 to have scores reviewed prior to completing the form. Please note: Completing the registration process does not guarantee a space for the 2025.2026 school year.
