Montessori High School Application — October 7, 2024

• Parents and guardians receive notification: Oct. 11, 2024 
• Deadline to accept or decline: Oct. 25, 2024

CPS Magnet Sibling Application for Preschool and Elementary School —  November 1, 2024 - February 14, 2025

Phase 1: 
Please begin your application by registering your child or linking your existing CPS student to your Focus account. 

• Current CPS students should not complete a new registration. Please ensure your student is linked to your parent/guardian Focus account with your student's Focus Student ID number.
• New students must complete the online registration. Parents/guardians may complete this process for their student through their parent/guardian Focus account. 

Phase 2: 
Beginning January 2, 2025, you will be able to select your school choice. 

• Parents and guardians receive notification: March 7, 2025
• Deadline to accept or decline: March 21, 2025

Siblings are given priority for entering magnet schools but must still apply through FOCUS using the Application system.

• All applications must be entered online. If you do not have access to a computer, please visit a school or CPS Customer Care at 2651 Burnet Ave. to access a computer for online application assistance.
