Jim Crosset

James (Jim) Crosset

Jim Crosset joins the Board of Education with a strong background in business. A retired business executive, Mr. Crosset is a proud graduate of Walnut Hills High School. He went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University and his MBA from the University of Cincinnati. 

Mr. Crosset spent the first half of his career in Educational Publishing, serving as the Vice President of Finance for the high school division of Cengage, formerly South-Western Publishing. Mr. Crosset spent the second half of his career as a Business Director/CFO for two law firms in downtown Cincinnati and then at UC's Law School. He had a capstone job for the last four years of his career as the CFO of a local manufacturing company.

Mr. Crosset has two daughters who are successful professionals in media and marketing positions at leading companies. He enjoys running, biking, swimming and generally being outdoors. Mr. Crosset also serves on the Board of the Art Academy of Cincinnati and on the Ohio Board of the Nature Conservancy.
