Both schools launched Expeditionary Learning (EL) as their specialized program for the 2017-2018 school year through Cincinnati Public Schools’ (CPS) Vision 2020: My Tomorrow program. Each respective administration collaborated with parents, teachers, students, and various members and leaders of the community to consider program options and, ultimately, select EL as the academic focus.

“College Hill has a rich history and a long tradition of educating students and giving them the tools they need to be who they want to be,” said College Hill Fundamental Academy Principal Monica Battle, citing the new curriculum’s emphasis on social and emotional development for students as they work towards high academic standards.
