Cincinnati Public Schools Presents State of the Schools
Event Previews District Priorities for 2016-17, Historic Preschool Partnership

WHAT: Annual State of the Schools event previewing the new academic year for Cincinnati Public Schools’ staff, parents and community partners. Superintendent Mary Ronan will discuss Vision 2020, a new initiative to strengthen neighborhood schools, as well as priorities to better prepare students for college, careers, workforce readiness and access to technology. Also featured will be a historic partnership to expand access to quality preschool.

Cincinnati Public Schools sets the tone for the 2016-17 school year with the district’s annual State of the Schools event from 8:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016. The event will feature priorities for the coming school year – including the expansion of initiatives to prepare students for success in postsecondary education and workforce readiness as well as a historic partnership to expand access to quality preschool. Students return to classes in Southwest Ohio’s largest public school system on August 17, 2016.
