The health of our students and staff is the district’s highest priority. Cincinnati Public Schools remains in close communication with the Cincinnati Health Department, which is monitoring the COVID-19 situation with the Ohio Health Department and the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

CPS is continuing to take precautions, including closing schools per Gov. DeWine's order and closing our Central Office.

The Cincinnati Health Department continues to ask people who think they have COVID-19 symptoms to call their primary care doctor, or call the city's Hotline — (513) 357-7462. Please make the phone call first. The Health Department does not want people with symptoms to spread the coronavirus to others.

As the COVID-19 situation evolves, we will share updated information with CPS families and staff as it becomes available.
