CPS' District Safety Plan
Cincinnati Public Schools has created a detailed District Safety Plan for School Reopening, to maintain a healthy environment for our students and staff.
Health and safety protocols will be implemented at every CPS school and office, and are based on guidance from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Safety Plan focuses on areas such as scheduling students for in-school and remote learning; behaviors to reduce the spread of COVID-19; staff training; and preparing for when someone gets sick.

Update: At the March 7 Board of Education meeting, a resolution was passed to suspend the mask mandate in school buildings, district offices, and on yellow bus and van services. This update is effective immediately and is in line with the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Students, staff and visitors who want to continue wearing a mask are supported and encouraged to do so.
