Woodford Wildcat Family
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! We have survived and thrived in two years of a global pandemic. It is my hope that you took time this summer to reflect, reset and recharge. Summer never seems quite long enough, but I always appreciate time away from the hustle and bustle of school. Over the summer, I had an opportunity to engage with our new Superintendent Iranetta Wright and I am excited to see her leadership unfold as she guides us all through this next school year. I am also excited to finally get “back to the basics.”

Car Riders:
Arrival – Please plan to arrive between 8:45-9:00am. No students should arrive before 8:45am unless they are attending Imani’s before-school program. (Please contact the office for registration information.) Enter the main parking lot from Woodford Rd. Students will report directly to the cafeteria for breakfast. A staff member will be present to receive your child. Please pull to the right and let your child out close to the curb to avoid being hit by passing cars. Students should already be packed up and ready to exit your vehicle upon arrival. This ensures the safety of all students and keeps the drop off line moving. If you need more time to assist your child with exiting your vehicle, please pull into a parking space in one of our two side lots off of Red Bank Rd.Dismissal – Please plan to arrive between 3:30-3:45pm unless your child attends Imani after-school program. Enter the main parking lot from Woodford Rd. Please display your child’s name on your visor card (school will provide it during the first week of school). A staff member will call your child from the cafeteria. We ask that you please use extreme caution when pulling away from the car line as we want to keep all of our Wildcats safe. We appreciate your help in making our car line run in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
Change in Dismissal – Please notify the office in writing or by phone by 3pm.
As always, if there is anything that I can do to assist you, please don't hesitate to contact me via email or phone. Looking forward to an exceptional year of teaching, learning and growing!
Yours in Education,
Mrs. Danielle Gray, Principal
