Programs
After-school programs and extracurricular activities provide a richer environment to help students learn and grow. At Sands Montessori, students have access to a variety of programs and activities to explore their interests.
After-School Enrichment / Student Enrichment Programs (SEP)
The Sands Montessori Parent Organization coordinates a wide array of after-school enrichment opportunities. These include, but are not limited to, karate, art, Spanish, dance, cooking, and cake decorating. At the beginning of each semester, program booklets are sent home with every child listing the classes available and the cost of participating. Some scholarships are available for these programs, thanks to the SMPO.
SEP classes are coordinated by the SMPO, with support from the school and in partnership with the individual SEP instructors. Many people have worked together to make these classes available to Sands students at a reasonable cost.
