About Fairview-Clifton German Language School

  • Originally founded and built in 1888 on the corner of Stratford and Warner Street, it is Cincinnati's second-oldest magnet school. In 2008, exactly 120 years later, Fairview moved to its current location on the corner of Clifton and McAlpin Avenue and was renamed Fairview-Clifton German Language School.

    To educate all students to meet or exceed the district's high academic standards. Today, Fairview-Clifton's students continue to achieve academically at a high level.

    Fairview-Clifton exists to be an empowered and vibrant, city-wide, Preschool-6, magnet school dedicated to academics, German, and the arts. We will foster a culture of excellence within a diverse learning community with unique traditions, to provide opportunities for each child to reach his/her full potential as a world citizen.
