School Communication
In addition to phone calls and text messages, school staff will regularly communicate with students and families via email, Clever, and Talking Points. Students should check their CPS email and Clever messages daily and families should check their email, Clever messages, and Talking Points messages daily.

Checking Grades
Students and parents will log into Edgenuity to check grades, student progress, and student work completion daily.
Midterm and report card grades are posted in PowerSchool. Students will use their username and password to log into PowerSchool. Parents will access PowerSchool with their own unique login information.

Clever
Students use Clever to access their learning programs, send and receive teacher messages, and access other helpful links.
Parents use Clever to message teachers, receive important information, and access special classroom and school information.
Students are automatically registered, but parents will receive a Clever invite to connect.

Edgenuity
Edgenuity® is our K–12 online program students log into daily to complete and submit assignments, quizzes and tests. Click here for information on using Edgenuity and how to submit assignments.

Technology Tools
Google Workspace for Education — CPS has adopted Google Workspace for Education as a key tool for student learning. Google Workspace for Education is a web-based suite of programs provided by Google for schools to use. All Google Apps services can be accessed from anywhere with an Internet connection.

Project Connect
For children who are experiencing homelessness, the risk of falling behind academically is significantly greater. Project Connect helps clear barriers to education for families who are homeless. From assisting with enrollment and promoting attendance to providing in-school and summer programs, Project Connect provides guidance and support to give a leg up for children and youth who are experiencing homelessness.
