• At John J. Gilligan Digital Academy (GDA), student success is our priority. To support student achievement, we have defined expectations for students to follow. We also ensure our students have multiple methods for contacting their teachers. Included on this page are highlights from GDA's policies and procedures, which are designed to promote student success.

    Student Expectations

    GDA students are expected to:

    • Complete five full days of online work each week
    • Complete and submit all assignments on time
    • Contact their teacher, technology coordinator or school office with questions or for assistance
    • Arrive on time for in person state/district testing

    Teacher Access

GDA teachers are available by phone, email, text, and our online conference tool. Students and parents are welcome to reach out for help at any time. However, GDA teachers' office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. for Kindergarten through 5th Grade. For 6th through 12th Grade the office hours are 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. If help is needed outside of these hours, teachers will answer phone calls and texts when they are available.

    Testing

All students are required to take any Ohio-mandated tests in person at Cincinnati Digital Academy, 425 Ezzard Charles Drive (45203).
