Withrow University High School Hosts International Administrators to Discuss Innovative Education Pathways

Withrow University High School Hosts International Administrators to Discuss Innovative Education Pathways

Withrow University High School was selected by the U.S. Department of State to participate in an international education exchange program. A group of secondary school administrators from around the world visited Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky to explore best practices in dual-enrollment programs, student-centered learning and career-focused education.

A central focus of the visit was the Business Pathway to the University of Cincinnati’s Lindner College of Business. The program gives students the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school, offering an early introduction to higher education and the business world.

“We received global recognition for our business program, so it's an honor that they are coming to see and consider what we are doing to take it back to their home country,” career tech business teacher Yolanda Lauderdale said.

During the visit, the international administrators met with Withrow staff to discuss strategies for implementing dual-enrollment programs, fostering student-centered learning environments and building career-focused educational models. The conversations centered on how to better support students in their academic and professional goals.

Withrow University High School welcomed the opportunity to collaborate with global educators and exchange ideas on strengthening educational pathways that prepare students for success in college and beyond.
