Save the Date for CPS Back-to-School Fest

It may only be spring, but CPS is already planning for some summer fun with the annual CPS Back-to-School Fest! 

CPS is excited to announce that the annual event will return to Washington Park on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This beloved community event helps students and families get ready for a strong start to the school year with everything they need in one place. 

Families can look forward to meeting school leaders, connecting with CPS departments and accessing valuable resources from community partners. The event will also feature giveaways, activities and services to help students head back to school ready to succeed.
CPS is currently inviting community organizations to be part of this year’s CPS Back-to-School Fest. Partners play a vital role in supporting our students and families by sharing resources and building connections ahead of the school year. Space is limited, and interest is high so early applications are encouraged!
