Pop-Up Enrollment: Coming to a Neighborhood Near You
CPS is hosting pop-up enrollment opportunities this summer for preschool through grade 12 students for families interested in registering for the 2025-26 school year. Families can learn more about the District’s corridors, pathways and selection options.
To enroll, guardians need to bring the child's birth certificate, photo ID of the parent/guardian and custodial documentation (if applicable) and proof of residency, which may include current lease agreement with signature page of tenant and landlord, mortgage statement, gas/electric or water bill, government letter dated within 60 days or a tax return printed from IRS.gov.
SPECIAL ON-SITE SUPPORT AT UPCOMING POP-UP ENROLLMENT EVENTS:
Two community partners will be on hand to assist families and offer added resources:

METRO will provide information on student transportation and bus services, including interactive tours of METRO buses designed to help new riders feel confident and comfortable.

Feed the Soul, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting food insecurity, will offer fresh, healthy snacks to students. Every student will receive a free fruit backpack — including apples, bananas, and Cuties — along with Eat Great 2B Great stickers, while supplies last. The first 20 families to arrive will also receive a jumbo grocery bag filled with two weeks’ worth of fresh produce.
