FC Cincinnati Player Kévin Denkey Delivers Goals and Bikes to CPS Students

FC Cincinnati Player Kévin Denkey Delivers Goals and Bikes to CPS Students

Fresh off a stunning bicycle kick goal that left fans in awe, FC Cincinnati star Kévin Denkey took his talents off the field with a surprise visit to Hays-Porter School in the West End.

Located just blocks from TQL Stadium, the school welcomed Denkey as he arrived bearing gifts, 150 brand-new bicycles. The bikes were awarded to students who maintained strong grades or perfect attendance during the school year.

“For the kids here, it gives them hope, freedom and opportunity,” said Nedria West, principal at Hays-Porter. “A lot of times, downtown and the West End, they don’t get to play outside. Giving them a bike really opens up opportunities for them.”

Students cheered and lined up to receive the bikes, a reward for their hard work and dedication.

“I’m going to start riding it every day, outside,” said one student, grinning beside their new wheels.

Denkey, FC Cincinnati’s leading goal-scorer, said he was proud to give back to the community and inspire young fans beyond the field.

“This is a wonderful experience,” said West. “The kids are so excited. They worked so hard this year and I think they are starting to realize their hard work pays off.”
