Dr. Isidore Rudnick Recognized for Making Significant Impact on Arts in Ohio
Dr. Isidore Rudnick, the CPS Fine Arts Curriculum Manager, was given the CreativeOhio Arts Educator Champion Award of 2024.
The CreativeOhio Champion Advocacy Awards were launched in 2023 to celebrate the migration of Ohio Citizens for the Arts to CreativeOhio. Prior to this, an award was given annually to an individual or group that had made a significant impact on Ohio through advocacy.
Dr. Rudnick was presented with this award at the 2024 CreativeOhio Champion Advocacy Awards held at Music Hall on Oct. 16, 2024, which brought prominent arts, business, and community leaders together from across the state.
“It was incredible; it is great to see so many creative leaders devoted to art advocacy in education.” Rudnick says, “It’s an honor to be recognized for making a contribution to our students and the arts in Ohio.”
Dr. Rudnick was recognized for his decades of work creating barrier-free, equitable, inclusive, and impactful arts programming in Southwest Ohio and for his leadership that inspires young artists and enriches the arts community.
During his thirty-five-year career, Dr. Rudnick has presented music workshops to students of all ages throughout the U.S. and Europe, including the International Jazz Festival for the district.
