CPS Hosts Partner New Year Kickoff at 1819 Innovation Hub

CPS Hosts Partner New Year Kickoff at 1819 Innovation Hub

Cincinnati Public Schools kicked off the new year with a special event at the University of Cincinnati 1819 Innovation Hub on Wednesday, bringing together community partners and stakeholders for the CPS Partner New Year Kickoff. The event was designed to celebrate the strong collaborations between the district and its diverse partners, as well as to share the district's exciting direction as it prepares for the 2025-2026 school year.

The gathering featured a networking session, allowing partners to introduce themselves and discuss the services and expertise they bring to the district. The wide range of partners represented reflected the many ways the Cincinnati community supports CPS students and families, from educational initiatives and health services to cultural enrichment and community outreach.

LaRonda Thomas, District Parent Champion of Parent/Family & Community Engagement, said, "It was a valuable opportunity to engage with our diverse partners who consistently deliver exceptional services to our students and families. What truly stood out was seeing these partners collaborate with one another, working together to broaden their collective impact."

As a token of appreciation, each partner received a small gift and a personalized gratitude card from Superintendent Murphy.

Among the event's attendees were representatives from:

  • Cincinnati Police Department
  • Payton's Lemonade
  • Cincinnati Museum Center
  • Hamilton County 513 Relief Bus
