CPS High School Students Invited to Create Mental Health PSA for “Breaking the Silence” Campaign

CPS High School Students Invited to Create Mental Health PSA for “Breaking the Silence” Campaign

Cincinnati Public Schools is proud to share an opportunity for high school students across the Greater Cincinnati region to use their voices and creativity to help raise awareness around youth mental health and suicide prevention.

WXIX FOX19 NOW, in partnership with Interact for Health and United Way of Greater Cincinnati, has launched the next round of the Breaking the Silence: Teens Fighting Suicide campaign. Students are invited to create and submit a 30-second public service announcement (PSA) answering the question:

“What do adults need to know about teen mental health and suicide prevention?”

The winning PSA will air on FOX19 during the FIFA World Cup this summer, providing students with an incredible opportunity to have their message seen across the Tri-State region.

Additional highlights include:

· Over one million promotional impressions across FOX19 and streaming platforms

· Prizes for the top three student entries

· Semi-finalist PSAs featured on FOX19 and streaming platforms

· Community voting to help select the winning entry

Last year’s winning PSA aired during the Super Bowl on FOX19.

Students interested in participating can find contest details, submission guidelines and entry information here:
