Cincinnati Public Schools Celebrates Elementary Soccer Season at Stargel and TQL Stadium

Cincinnati Public Schools Celebrates Elementary Soccer Season at Stargel and TQL Stadium

Cincinnati Public Schools District Athletics hosted two end-of-season soccer celebration days last week on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 and Thursday, November 6, 2025, bringing together elementary soccer students from across the district for a day of skill-building, teamwork and fun.

CPS FC Soccer Day

Students began the day at Stargel Stadium, rotating through soccer stations focused on dribbling, ball control, shooting and teamwork. The atmosphere was filled with encouragement, smile, and great energy from coaches and student-athletes.

After the on-field activities, students visited TQL Stadium for lunch, created team posters and received a t-shirt and new soccer ball courtesy of FC Cincinnati!

The day also featured a visit from Gary the Lion, who was a crowd favorite and provided an autograph to every participant.

CPS would like to extend a sincere thank you to FC Cincinnati for their support and partnership in providing our students with a memorable and positive experience.

“This event highlighted the joy and community that sports can build. Our students had a chance to learn, play and celebrate together. We are grateful for our coaches and for our partnership with FC Cincinnati,” said CPS District Athletics Coordinator Brent Langhorne.
