Attend a Kindergarten Roundup Near You to Register for 2026-27 School Year

It’s time to enroll your child in kindergarten! Cincinnati Public Schools will host a Kindergarten Roundup at participating neighborhood elementary schools for parents of children who will be at least five years old on or before September 30, 2026*. Kindergarten Roundup will take place from Monday, May 11, 2026 through Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 4-7 p.m. Please save the date. A full schedule is coming soon. 

Drop by your neighborhood elementary school to:

• Meet teachers, principals and school staff

• Tour the school facility

• Learn about after-school and extracurricular programs

• Find out ways to get involved with your child’s education 

• Apply for the 2026-27 school year

Please be sure to bring your child’s birth certificate, proof of residency (lease, utility bill, etc.) and your child’s immunization records to begin the registration process. Each school may assist with the registration process. Each child will then be enrolled by CPS’s Customer Care team.
