What CPS schools did you attend? Aiken High School

What year did you graduate? 2017

What are you doing now? I’m the Marketing and Communication Coordinator for Cincinnati Youth Collaborative. I previously worked as a teacher at Aiken High School with Jobs for Cincinnati Graduates grades 7- 9.

Was there anyone from your time at school that influenced you? I was inspired by a lot of mentors and teachers around me, but the most influential was my therapist Kalyn Klontz through The Children's Home. She showed me there was light at the end of the tunnel.

What advice do you have for current students? BE YOU Be unapologetic. You are entitled to feel your feelings, and strive to help people for the greater good. Prioritize your mental health and lean into people around you who want to help. Be upfront about your needs. There is so much help around but closed mouths don't get fed.

What’s your favorite school memory? My favorite school memory was the annual walk at Aiken High School for the school we built in Sierra Leone.

What is your favorite Cincinnati staple? My favorite Cincy staple is Skyline.

Where do you live now? I live in Cincinnati in Mt. Airy.

Fun Facts: I have cadaver ligaments throughout my knee and I have gauges in my ear, which I love.
