Aiken High School Boys Basketball to Compete for State Championship

Aiken High School's boys basketball is making history as the team advances to the state finals. 

The team, 27-1 this season, earned a spot in the championship game with a 64-58 win over Sandusky. 

The Falcons will play Louisville in the DIII State Championship Friday, March 21, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the University of Dayton.

Tickets are available at OHSAA Tickets (select Basketball > Boys > Division III). The University of Dayton arena is a cashless venue.

UD Information for Parents and Fans:

  • Parking: Fans are encouraged to park in the general parking locations around the arena. Overnight parking is prohibited in the parking lots surrounding the arena.
  • Fan entrance: Boys Games - North, East, South of Connor Lobby entrance doors.
  • Security: Guests will go through security to enter the arena. Items permitted to be carried through the metal detectors include - wallet/coins, cell phone, belt, keys and watches.
    • The following items must be placed on the security table to be searched: purses, small bas and cameras. Fans are encourgaed to not bring large purses, backpacks and other large bags as these may be required to be returned to your car. (Note: The Arena does not have space to store items determined to be too large to bring to an event.)
    • Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: firearms, knives/blades, weapons of any kind, outside food and drink, strollers, signs larger than 8.5"x11", tripods, balloons, animals (with the exception of service animals), large bags or backpacks, camera with lenses longer that eight inches, laser pointers and noisemakers. 
  • Outside food and drink: No coolers, glass bottles, cans, or alcoholic beverages are permitted in the arena.
  • Artificial Noisemakers: No noisemakers are permitted.
  • Cashless Venue: The University of Dayton arena is a cashless venue.
