Small Contributions That Make a Big Difference
GEBAS is a non-profit organization made up of Fairview-Clifton German Language School Parents. The goal of GEBAS is to support the school community with time, talent, and funds. GEBAS is open to all parents, as it takes a village. There are many ways that our families and community members can have a positive impact in our classrooms. Contributing to GEBAS in a myriad of ways enables our school and our support organizations to stretch their resources further. The result: More enriching opportunities for our students that promote academic success and healthy choices!
Contributions like time, energy, and morale are just as valuable as financial support. Getting involved in events and causes that GEBAS brings to our school community's attention only benefits our students.

Fundraising
Ways and Means helps GEBAS raise money to carry out its annual operations. These funds go towards supporting multiple school programs and materials (for example, STEAM days, buses for field trips, classroom learning technologies, publications, teacher special requests, guest speakers and the like). Ways and Means conducts several fundraising events throughout the year.
The Register & Give Online! button above is an easy, and secure way for GEBAS to accept your generous contributions. We are using the Square platform to collect funds for Invent in Your Child, Read-A-Thon, Parents Night Out, Fasching sales, and other GEBAS supported events and campaigns.

Other Ways to Give
Other than big events, there are continuous ways you can support GEBAS and Fairview-Clifton German Language School. Do you shop at Kroger? Amazon? Do you buy and use Box Top products that support education? Register for community rewards programs and send in your Box Tops. SO EASY! Look below for ways to support our school.
Amazonsmile — GEBAS/Fairview-Clifton
Instead of shopping with regular Amazon, shop with AmazonSmile. Same platform just a portion of the sale goes to our dedicated organization. (Select GEBAS as your community organization).
Kroger Community Rewards
GEBAS Foundation — School ID: 81936. Register your Free Kroger Rewards Card EVERY year. Check your rewards account.
TerraCycle
TerraCycle collects and recycle any dental items like toothpaste packaging, used toothbrushes and packaging, and mouthwash bottles. We also collect drink pouches, applesauce pouches and Lunchable containers. Look for collection sites in the cafeteria or entry area of the school. Ms. Bush loves to support this cause!

Specific Fundraising Events During School Year
Invest in Your Child (IIYC)
IIYC=100 percent Profit, Tax Deductible, Convenient, Can be Matched by Employer
Donation Forms can be found here and will be sent out quarterly. Third-party merchandise only brings in a 60 percent profit. IIYC is a 100 percent guaranteed contribution to GEBAS and Fairview-Clifton German Language School.
See if your employer has a matching program! Email if you have questions.
Read-A-Thon
This is a fun way for our students to earn money for their school and promote great literacy practices. Students obtain pledges for the reading they already do and more! Last year our school raised over $13,000 and read more than 11,000 books.
Parent Night Out
Just as the name says, Parent Night Out (PNO) is a time for school-aged children to stay at school and have fun ‘after-hours’— while their parents have a night out and some time to themselves. This happens twice a year, so look in the Falkenpost for early registration. Fridays 4-8 p.m.
Last Minute Shop
We are looking for vendors who would like to sell their goods and services to our Fairview-Clifton community just in time for the holidays. Email if you are interested in participating in this event.
Dance-A-Thon
We will overcome the winter blues by moving and shaking. Can you dance non-stop for hours? This is a great challenge for students. Classrooms or teams set goals and gather pledges.
