We are very proud to be a Community Learning Center that provides services to engage, educate and support our students, their families and our community. We have partners on site that provide health and wellness services, after-school enrichment programming, mental health services and parent-education classes. We also have countless other partners, including community volunteers, that focus on the whole student throughout their journey with us.

Community Learning Center Institute
The Community Learning Center Institute leads the ongoing engagement of the Greater Cincinnati community in the development of all schools as community learning centers, each with a set of financially self-sustaining, co-located community partnerships responsive to the vision and needs of each school and its neighborhood. The Community Learning Center Institute is a national leader in leveraging public school facilities to become hubs of educational, recreational, cultural, health and civic partnerships, which optimize the conditions for learning and catalyze the revitalization of the community. The key component of a CLC is the partners who provide services and support. To manage and align these valuable partnerships, our full-time, on-site Resource Coordinator, Jill Smith, plays an integral role in the success of the AWL Community Learning Center. To learn more about the services available at our school or how your company or organization can become a CLC partner or volunteer, please contact Jill Smith at (513) 363-7819 or via email.

Beech Acres
Parenting is a universal language. Beech Acres partners with AWL to provide parents with the support they need to help their children succeed in school. Beech Acres' Family Peer Support Providers are parents like you, who are familiar with community resources and have experience advocating for their children. They can work with you to set goals for your family, then connect you with the information or tools you need to achieve them.
Beech Acres also supports AWL students with behavioral and emotional health needs. Students can work with a Beech Acres behavioral health provider to build coping skills and confidence, manage difficult emotions, and improve relationships.
