Mission and Vision

  • Roselawn students playing guitarThe mission of Roselawn Condon is to create and maintain a family-friendly environment that ensures all students will be prepared socially, emotionally, physically and academically to be productive citizens in this global society. We commit to a comprehensive system of supports to assure this outcome.

Roselawn Condon School encapsulates this mission statement with the support of a highly-devoted staff and well-equipped facility. We are a team-based STEM magnet school that follows a comprehensive operational plan for student achievement. STEM is science, technology, engineering and math. The STEM approach to instruction utilizes concepts and methods that build innovative thinking which is necessary for the 21st century marketplace. We strive to develop the thinkers of tomorrow who will not only have the knowledge required to process information but the skills to interpret and understand all acquired processed information.

In addition to academic programs, our students have music, art, and physical education classes. We provide a variety of school clubs and activities for students at all grade levels. Our students attend special programs from outside organizations to enrich their knowledge of the arts and other outside interests. Students participate in a daily activity period from 3:00-3:45 p.m. that allows them to work with students in other classes and other grades. There are a variety of activities offered throughout the week including, Team Day, STEM Day, RC Reads, Math Lab, and Fun Fridays.

Under the direction of our new principal, the teachers, staff members, and dedicated volunteers are committed to giving all the students at Roselawn Condon a strong academic education while at the same time incorporating STEM, technology, the arts and extra-curricular activities to use 21st century skills to build a solid academic foundation. We strive to create and maintain an energetic, creative, healthy, and safe learning environment for all of our students.

    Vision

Our vision is to become a cohesive and high-achieving organization that strives to meet the social, emotional, physical and academic needs of our students.

We strive to uphold our school vision for every day when school is in session. We will do all that we can to ensure that our students can achieve their highest potential.

Roselawn Condon expects all students to come to school every day, appropriately dressed, on time and prepared. Students are expected to follow Roselawn Condon School rules and guidelines and adhere to the Student Code of Conduct. Students will meet in the cafeteria at the start of each school day. After breakfast, we say the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and the Roselawn Condon Student Pledge before students are dismissed to their respective classrooms.

    Student Pledges

  • Community Learning Centers

For our schools to transform, our communities must be revitalized. For our communities to revitalize, our schools must be transformed. They are dependent on each other and Community Learning Centers are the link.

What is a Community Learning Center (CLC)?

Schools and the communities they serve are closely linked. Seldom does one succeed without the success of the other. That's why our CLCs support student achievement, enrich and revitalize communities, and maximize the community's return on their financial investment.

We are very proud to be a  CLC and a neighborhood anchor. We strive to go beyond academics to focus on the whole child by serving as a hub for community services that are available to all students, their families and the entire community. We are able to offer a variety of services thanks to the collaboration and support of our many partners and the committed community of Roselawn.

    Our Resource Coordinator
Darcus Anderson is the Resource Coordinator for Roselawn Condon School.

The key component of a CLC is the partners who provide services and support. To manage and align these valuable partnerships, our full-time, on-site Resource Coordinator, Darcus Anderson, plays an integral role in the success of the Community Learning Center.

To learn more about the services available at our school or how your company or organization can become a CLC partner or volunteer, please contact Darcus Anderson at (513) 363-4800 or via email.

"A good snapshot keeps a moment from running away."
    --Eudora Welty

Eudora Welty, was a photographer and Pulitzer Prize-winning author. Ms. Welty's quote reminds us of the importance in capturing moments that are not just special and to be remembered — but perhaps, may be considered routine or even insignificant. Nonetheless, each precious moment is special in the lives of our children as they continue to grow before our eyes.

A Roselawn Condon School webpage containing albums of photographs has been created on Shutterfly for students, parents/guardians, family, friends, and staff members. Within the next couple of months, photographs from recent years will be uploaded, so, check the site from time to time. We know that these pictures will be treasured and enjoyed for years and will bring you fond memories.
