About Rees E. Price Academy
-
Rees E. Price Academy is a neighborhood school serving approximately 600 students in east Price Hill. Established in 2006, Rees E. Price Academy is the focal point for families in the areas of education, family support and community support. The school is home to Preschool through sixth grade.
Rees E. Price Academy is a community school. We are a central location for community members, parents, families and organizations in support of the students who we support and educate.
In an urban area, providing a safe environment is essential for learning and teaching. The challenges that affect children from a variety of socioeconimic, culturally diverse and academically diverse backgrounds are issues that we in the Rees E. Price community are continually striving to overcome.
Stakeholders in the Rees E. Price Academy community remain conscious of the diversity issues that our children are facing. We develop, implement, and evaluate interventions that will narrow the academic gap between the various groups of students. Through quality instruction, high expectations and research-based teaching approaches, all students will achieve to the highest levels. The students at Rees E. Price Academy will always be the centerpiece of our work as we continue to raise the levels of student engagement.
This caliber of educational expectancy is where Rees E. Price Academy generates its energy from in providing high expectations within the community; consequently, our state test scores are rising.

Community Learning Centers
For our schools to transform, our communities must be revitalized. For our communities to revitalize, our schools must be transformed. They are dependent on each other and Community Learning Centers are the link.
What is a Community Learning Center (CLC)?
Schools and the communities they serve are closely linked. Seldom does one succeed without the success of the other. That's why our CLCs support student achievement, enrich and revitalize communities, and maximize the community's return on their financial investment.
We are very proud to be a CLC and a neighborhood anchor. We strive to go beyond academics to focus on the whole child by serving as a hub for community services that are available to all students, their families and the entire community. We are able to offer a variety of services thanks to the collaboration and support of our many partners and the committed community of East Price Hill.
Our Resource Coordinator
Natalie Brown is the Resource Coordinator for Rees E. Price Academy.
The key component of a CLC is the partners who provide services and support. To manage and align these valuable partnerships, our full-time, on-site Resource Coordinator, Natalie Brown, plays an integral role in the success of the Community Learning Center.
To learn more about the services available at our school or how your company or organization can become a CLC partner or volunteer, please contact Natalie Brown at (513) 363-6094 or via email.
