Principal Ceair Baggett
Dear Robert A. Taft IT High School Families,
The Future is Bright!
The 2022-2023 school year is slated to be our best school year yet! We continue to strive for our students to be connected, invested and engaged as they pursue their academic goals. As the leader of this unique and innovative community learning center, I am looking forward to our continued partnership!
We will continue with our commitment to implement Healthy Start Times for our adolescent population! We will begin school at 8:45 a.m and end at 3:45 p.m. Please note, doors will open at 8:20 a.m. to welcome students. Research shows that a later school start time improves students’ health and directly relates to learning capacity, retention and academic performance.
Robert A.Taft Information Technology High School's mission is to graduate young people who are prepared to meet the challenges of the future through higher education and the world of work. Our commitment to maintaining high academic standards is strong. As we do each year, we will address unfinished learning with both grade level instruction and targeted skill specific instruction that meets the individual needs of our students! Our innovation will connect and build relationships that continue to strengthen our dynamic Learning Community.
Thank you,
