Preschool applicants may apply throughout the year as they turn age 3. Montessori applicants must be age 3 or 4 by September 30, 2010.
Tuition is $2,900 per school year for half-day preschool and $5,500 per school year for full-day preschool.
Tuition is not charged to parents whose income levels qualify them for programs paid for with the Early Childhood Education (ECE) grant. The number of these slots are very limited, and parents must bring proof of income to the school when applying (such as a federal or state income-tax return or current pay stub without overtime). Parents must check a box on the application to show that they are applying to a tuition or an ECE-subsidized slot.
A child accepted into a magnet preschool may stay in that magnet school for higher grades without reapplying.
Transportation is not provided for preschoolers.
