Taft IT High School Receives LEED Platinum
Taft Information Technology High School is the first high school in Ohio to achieve the LEED Platinum certification for its new environmentally friendly building, which opened Spring 2011 in the West End. Platinum is the highest level of “green” certification in LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) from the U. S. Green Building Council.

Twenty finalists have been announced by Western & Southern Financial Group for the 2012 Dr. Lawrence C. Hawkins Educator of the Year Award. This award honors one outstanding educator annually from within Cincinnati Public Schools for demonstrated excellence as an educator.
