During the 2008-09 school year the Cincinnati Public Schools' logo was refined to reflect a more modern school district and to improve usability with current technology.
The Cincinnati Public Schools' logo represents the district's efforts to work together as a team — students, teachers, administrators, staff, parents and community — to create a star.
The different colors of the children's hands reflect the district's multicultural population; reaching together shows teamwork; and the star they make celebrates success and points to the future.
This logo, developed as a community service project by Libby Perszyk Kathman (LPK), a Cincinnati design firm, was originally adopted in 1996.
