Aerial View

New Carson School's two-story classroom wing will be along Sunset Avenue. The current building, which will be demolished after the new school is completed, is located in the playground areas in this drawing. The Carson campus was enlarged back to Westhaven Avenue through the purchase of adjacent property. The green space at the top of the drawing now is a neglected, overgrown area that will be spruced up for student use.

Front Plaza View

The new building for Carson School will create a visual anchor for the corner of Glenway and Sunset avenues in Price Hill, with a welcoming walk-in plaza entrance. The walls are a colorful blend of red brick, cast stone and colored metal panels, creating blocks of various colors to break up the building's mass.

The main student drop-off area will be a driveway from Sunset Avenue, with students entering via a walkway well away from traffic on busy Glenway.
