What the Facilities Plan Means
Once,
Cincinnati’s public school buildings were shining gems in which our entire
community took pride. That time is about to return….
Cincinnati Public Schools and its architectural and
construction experts, in partnership with the Ohio School Facilities
Commission (OSFC), have prepared a comprehensive Facilities Master Plan.
Its goal: to replace inadequate, deteriorating learning spaces with
first-class school buildings for every CPS student. Months in the making,
this plan will ensure that all CPS schools are of high quality, that
building designs support the district’s educational programs and
instructional staff, that the community has opportunities to be partners
in development of school buildings, and that the entire plan is sized to
fit our enrollment needs.
