Student Work Permits

Application

Students must complete an application form to obtain the necessary information and approvals from their potential employer and from their parents or legal guardian.

Application forms are available online (see box at left) or at any Cincinnati Public School.

Issuance of Work Permits

To better serve the needs of student workers, work permits are issued at all Cincinnati Public School District secondary schools. Students are encouraged to apply for permits at the secondary school at which they are currently enrolled or were last enrolled, if applicable.

When applying for a work permit, students should bring a copy of their birth certificate and a completed application form.

Physician's Certificate

A Physician's Certificate can be printed out (see box at left) for students that are required to take a physical for employment purposes.
